The SpaceWire Router is a standalone, ready-to-use hardware unit housed in a compact desktop box. It provides a configurable and flexible solution for medium data-rate routing switch functionality in ground networking applications.

Based on the SpaceWire protocol, it supports bi-directional, full-duplex serial data communication links and is fully compliant with the SpaceWire standard (ECSS-EST-50-12C Rev.1).

The router features 4 or 8 SpaceWire ports, built on our proprietary SpaceWire Router IP Core with D-Sub Micro-D connectors, and an additional Ethernet port for easy updates. Its intuitive design allows logical addresses to be mapped from any SpaceWire port, and it is ready-to-use at power-on using physical port addressing.

This combination of flexibility and immediate usability makes the SpaceWire Router an ideal solution for the development and integration phases of flight units, providing reliable performance throughout all stages of system testing and deployment.
