“NDCP (Network Discovery And Configuration Protocol For SpaceFibre)” is an European Space Agency project for the interoperability, discovery and configuration of SpaceWire and SpaceFibre networks.

The main activities performed during the project are:

• the definition of network requirements for the complete set of status and configuration parameters required for SpaceFibre Nodes and Routing Switches;
• the discovery and configuration of SpaceFibre networks, considering also the needs of SpaceWire network;
• the definition of a XML scheme to describe mixed SpaceWire and SpaceFibre networks.

The starting point of the project is the existing NDCP specification for SpaceWire, to be extended to SpaceFibre networks.
